Job summary

Covenant Health is hiring a Certified Cancer Registrar for the East Tennessee Cancer Registry. This full-time position (72 hours per pay period) is primarily home-based but requires some in-person meetings. Responsibilities include managing cancer registry operations, organizing conferences, and ensuring compliance with health data requirements. Candidates should have at least three years of cancer registry experience, good computer skills, and must hold a Cert Tumor Registrar license. A valid Tennessee driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years cancer registry experience is required.
• Good computer skills and communication skills are essential.
• Abstracting experience of at least one year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain independent off-site cancer registry.
• Organizes and staffs cancer conferences.
• Monitors quality assessment program and registers statistics.
