Job summary

The NMS remote housekeeper position provides a wide range of cleaning services to keep remote camp and industrial facilities, food service areas, office spaces, and similar areas clean and orderly. All duties align with NMS’ mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning of floors and surfaces, trash removal, restocking, and occasional light maintenance. Candidates must have experience in commercial cleaning and be able to work with minimal supervision in remote

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes.
• 1+ year experience in commercial housekeeping.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements (drug test, BAT, physical and fit-for-duty, hearing test). Applicants not near testing facility cover travel costs.
• Capable of teamwork and independent decision making, with minimal supervision.
• Must speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops and restocks various areas.
• Uses appropriate cleaning equipment and solutions for tasks.
• Removes trash and disposes of materials properly.
• Maintains cleanliness of hallways, offices, kitchens, laundry and restrooms.
• May perform light maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Reports safety and sanitation issues to supervisor.
