Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a CAM Programmer to evaluate production code, debug traces, and assess model outputs for correctness in a remote, US-eligible contractor role.

You will reproduce failures in a sandbox, write targeted unit tests, and document the fixes so the modeling team can close gaps.

Strong experience reading unfamiliar code and a track record of concise reasoning in code reviews is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read, run, and debug unfamiliar code.
• Experience writing concise unit tests to capture single failure modes.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (pytest/Jest/JUnit).
• Clear written reasoning to persuade senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce candidate code outputs in a sandboxed environment for CAM Programmer assignments.
• Grade solutions for correctness, style, and edge-case handling.
• Write minimal failing tests that demonstrate bugs.
• Compare paired solutions with a written rationale tied to the rubric.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores.
• Document recurring code-generation failures.
• Calibrate reviews to keep inter-rater agreement above target.
