Position Overview

MCI is looking for Manitoba-based work-at-home customer service, help desk, technical support, and sales representatives to support April demand. In these roles, you will handle inbound customer inquiries, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and assist customers in adding or removing products and services.

All it takes to get started is to complete an easy online application and an informal interview with a talent acquisition specialist. If you do not have your equipment, MCI will provide it. You will need a home broadband connection.

Position Responsibilities

WHAT DOES A WORK AT HOME CONTACT CENTER REPRESENTATIVE DO?

This position supports customer service, technical support, and sales interactions. You will interact with hundreds of customers each week across the country to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure a top-tier customer experience. You should be confident, fully engaged, a team player, and bring a positive, enthusiastic outlook to work daily.

Our entry-level Contact Center Representatives are responsible for:

  • Listening to customers, understanding their needs, and resolving issues
  • Utilizing systems and technology to complete account management tasks
  • Recognizing sales opportunities and applying sales skills to upgrade
  • Explaining and positioning products and processes with customers
  • Escalating customer dissatisfaction appropriately to managerial teams
  • Ensuring first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling

Physical Requirements

This role operates in a professional office environment. It is largely sedentary, requiring long periods of sitting/standing while using a computer and headset. Occasional movement around the office, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds, and operating office equipment may be required.
