Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Four years of California workers' compensation claims management experience.
• California jurisdictional knowledge; SIP licensing required or within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex CA workers' compensation claims with investigation data.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Calculate and assign reserves; manage reserve adequacy.
• Approve and pay benefits; settle claims within authority.
• Prepare required state filings within statutory limits.
• Manage litigation process for cost-effective resolution.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
