Job summary

Latitude Engaged Professionals is seeking a California-licensed litigation attorney for a remote opportunity supporting a law firm with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. This role is ideal for an attorney with meaningful commercial, employment or general litigation experience who is looking for either a permanent position or a contract role with flexibility.

The successful candidate should have at least three years of experience handling litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial, employment and/or general litigation experience.
• Active license to practice law in California and current good standing with the California State Bar.
• Experience with pleadings, motions, written discovery, legal research, depositions and case analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case workup for litigation matters, including pre-litigation strategy, motion practice, and written discovery.
• Perform legal research, draft motions, take depositions, and assist with case assessment.
