Strategic Legal Practices, APC is a Los Angeles-based litigation firm seeking Associate Attorneys at varying levels to join our litigation team. This role offers a long-term career track with paths for junior and experienced attorneys, including mentorship and increasing responsibility in case strategy, discovery, and motions practice.

The position supports growth with a structured development plan and opportunities to build leadership experience within the firm.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar).
• 1–5 years of legal experience, including internships, clerkships, or law school clinics.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Role can be remote with active CA Bar.

Responsibilities

• Appear in California state court for hearings, trial calls, and final status conferences under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, and review opposing parties' submissions.
• Assist in preparing motions and supporting trial preparation.
• Work with senior attorneys to build litigation skills across discovery, motions, and courtroom appearances.
• Independently prepare, draft, and argue substantive motions, including motions to compel and dispositive motions.
• Take primary responsibility for case strategy and trial preparation on assigned matters.
• Represent clients in hearings and trial calls with a high degree of autonomy.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, with increasing case management responsibility over time.
