Strategic Legal Practices in Los Angeles is seeking Associate Attorneys at varying experience levels to join our litigation team. The role offers a long-term career track with defined paths for early-career and seasoned attorneys, emphasizing mentorship and client-focused advocacy.

The firm values strong research, writing, and oral advocacy. Positions may be remote with an active CA Bar, and 1–5 years of legal experience is preferred. Salary ranges reflect experience and DOE.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar admission required).
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• 1-5 years of legal experience, including internships, clerkships, or law school clinics.
• Role can be remote with active CA Bar.

Responsibilities

• Appear in California state court for hearings, trial calls, and final status conferences under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, and review opposing parties' submissions.
• Assist in preparing motions and supporting trial preparation.
• Work with senior attorneys to build litigation skills across discovery, motions, and courtroom appearances.
• Independently prepare, draft, and argue substantive motions, including motions to compel and dispositive motions.
• Take primary responsibility for case strategy and trial preparation on assigned matters.
• Represent clients in hearings and trial calls with a high degree of autonomy.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, with opportunities for greater case management.
