Job summary

StationMD invites psychiatrists licensed in California to join our fully remote telepsychiatry team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the United States.

As a Remote Telepsychiatrist, you will perform virtual psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with caregivers and residential teams while working from home. A residency in psychiatry with board eligibility/certification and active California licensure are required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO is required and board eligible or board certified in psychiatry.
• Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency.
• Active California medical license prior to scheduling shifts; multi-state licenses encouraged.
• Active DEA license and clean malpractice history.
• Minimum 2 years clinical psychiatry experience; telepsychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry and behavioral health care via scheduled telehealth shifts.
• Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for I/DD patients.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications per clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with caregivers and residential staff; document encounters in EMR.
• Maintain licensure and credentialing with support from the team.
