Job summary

Headspace is seeking California-licensed therapists to provide tele-therapy to members on a part-time, W2 basis. The role requires a minimum of five sessions per week, with flexibility to add more as needed, and operates on a HIPAA-compliant video platform within the U.S.

Applicants must be licensed in CA (residing in CA). The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($75–$80/hr) plus benefits such as a monthly wellness stipend, 401K match, and malpractice insurance, with schedule flexibility

Qualifications

Independent licensed LMFT, LCSW, LICSW, or LPCC in good standing.
Licensure in multiple states is highly valued.
BC‑TMH credential, if required by your state of license.
3+ years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality tele-therapy to Headspace patients via HIPAA-compliant video.
Complete and sign clinical case notes within 48 hours of session.
Maintain a personal licensure database and keep availability calendar up to date.
Collaborate with health coaches, therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.
Be willing to become licensed in other states as needed.
