Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Software Engineer (C#) for internal tooling and AI infrastructure in a fully remote contract role. You will work 20–40 hours per week on high-impact data pipelines and annotation tooling.

You'll design and optimize C# systems, collaborate with AI labs and research teams, and contribute production-ready solutions that scale with complex workflows and model evaluation tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production-grade C#.
• Experience designing and building data pipelines and tooling.
• Familiarity with full-stack tooling and backend services.
• Ability to work with Python ML models from .NET or wrap native libs.
• Strong debugging, benchmarking, and performance tuning skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C# systems for AI data pipelines.
• Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation.
• Improve reliability, performance, and safety of existing C# codebases.
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams on model training workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable production fixes.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate on architecture with senior engineers.
