ICW Group is seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter, focusing on Building a profitable book of business and strengthening agency relationships across Commercial Lines. The role emphasizes disciplined risk selection, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities, with a remote/field work arrangement and travel to meet producers.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in business or related fields and a minimum of 1 year of related experience, along with strong communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to apply fundamental underwriting principles, concepts, and guidelines within assigned line(s) of business.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers while delivering high-quality service.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite, select, and price risks within assigned line(s) of business in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Drive new business production and achieve growth objectives through proactive agency engagement and cross-sell execution.
• Develop, manage, and maintain a producer force capable of generating profitable business.
• Promote all Company Commercial Lines offerings in agency interactions and manage expectations with agency partners.
• Provide underwriting and production support, including participation in account strategy and marketing discussions.
