Job summary

Marlabs Inc. is actively seeking a Business Analyst (Data & AI Readiness) to lead discovery, assessment, and documentation for AI-enabled projects. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to map current-state processes, data sources, and information architectures, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

This role is based remotely in the U.S. and requires strong communication and governance expertise to drive successful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of leading discovery and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience supporting data, analytics, data governance, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and interviews.
• Proven experience creating business requirements documents, process flows, and assessments.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to work across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to assess processes, data sources, AI readiness requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for alignment with technology.
• Evaluate current-state information management, data governance, and content management processes.
• Create detailed documentation, process maps, requirements artifacts, gap analyses, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and delivery.
• Communicate project status, findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
