ADEQ seeks a detail-oriented Budget Analyst to join the Business & Finance Unit in Phoenix. The role delivers financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across state and federal funds, using Tableau, Anaplan, and AZ360 to drive timely insights.

Remote-work options within Arizona support flexibility; candidates should have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and relevant experience, with strong communication and LEAN process improvement skills to support program budgets and procurement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in budget analysis, personnel, purchasing, accounting, data processing or related administrative services work.
• Any combination of training and experience that meet KSAs.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly and quarterly statistical reports on state and federal fund sources.
• Monitor funds, revenue, and cash balances to evaluate program longevity.
• Forecast fee fund revenues and expenditures to determine appropriate fee levels.
• Utilize financial systems (Tableau, Anaplan, AZ360) for budget tracking and reporting.
• Develop financial plans and prepare budgets in collaboration with program staff.
• Provide high-level financial guidance to team members.
