Job summary

A.T. Still University in Missouri seeks a full-time exempt Program Director and open-rank faculty to lead the BSN program. The role combines strategic leadership, curriculum oversight, and faculty mentorship in a telecommute setting with travel to clinical partners.

Responsibilities include accreditation compliance (CCNE, BON), program budgeting, student recruitment and retention support, and advancing teaching, service, and scholarship within the nursing education suite.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Doctorate in Nursing strongly preferred (DNP/PhD/EdD).
• Active RN license; eligible to obtain RN licensure in state jurisdictions for program oversight.
• 3–5 years of progressive academic leadership in higher education nursing.
• Experience with CCNE accreditation processes and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assign and supervise BSN faculty and coordinators.
• Ensure CCNE and BON compliance; support institutional accreditation efforts.
• Monitor and report program outcomes, including NCLEX pass rates.
• Assist with strategic planning, growth, and partnerships.
• Oversee program budget and resource allocation; ensure fiscal sustainability.
• Interview and hire adjunct faculty and clinical instructors; chair hiring committees as needed.
• Develop and cultivate clinical partnerships, preceptor networks, and community health links.
