Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a Remote Broadcast Engineer to deploy, configure, test, and maintain mission-critical broadcast, transmission, audio, video, and data systems for live and recorded NASCAR events. This remote role requires extensive travel to race venues and production locations, working with partners and vendors to ensure reliable, high-quality broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in Broadcast Engineering; mobile production truck experience preferred.
• Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software; RTS Intercom systems and HD routers knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, configuration, testing, and operation of broadcast transmission systems for live and recorded NASCAR event coverage from remote locations.
• Manage and validate audio, video, and data transmission paths between race venues, production facilities, and broadcast partners.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve broadcast engineering, transmission, networking, and equipment issues in high-pressure live production environments.
• Configure, maintain, and support broadcast infrastructure including intercom systems, video/audio routers, Tally/GPI systems, and DANTE networks.
