Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking an experienced bridal alterations contractor to fit, tailor and finish wedding and formalwear from home. You will conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly with clients and platform schedulers.

The role emphasizes high-quality finishing, organized workspaces, and flexibility to handle prom and eveningwear requests as they arise, with client relationships built through your own profile.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge + precision measuring.
• Machine + hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
• Handle requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
