Job summary

The American Psychological Association seeks a Book Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media tactics for APA Style, APA Books, and Magination Press, with the goal of increasing revenue and reach.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in social media or digital marketing, with experience in LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms; responsibilities include content creation, campaigns, author support, analytics, and influencer relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in social media/digital marketing.
• Experience in social media marketing/branding or digital marketing.
• Digital book marketing experience including LinkedIn and YouTube.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Scheduling: Produce engaging content across platforms.
• Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and monitor social campaigns, promotions.
• Author Support: Collaborate with authors ensuring brand consistency.
• Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments/messages.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social metrics to inform strategies.
• Influencer Relations: Develop relationships with BookTokers/Bookstagrammers.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current on social media trends and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
