Job summary

TÜV SÜD America, Inc. is seeking a risk engineering professional to support production, mechanical, and electrical equipment risk services. You will join site inspections, gain knowledge through mentoring, and prepare technical reports using established formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a comparable technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate.
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good planning and time management skills, especially when coordinating travel.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks.
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys alongside experienced consultants.
• Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job mentoring and structured training programs.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines.
• Build professional relationships with clients by acting in a courteous and reliable manner on site.
• Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision.
