Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Represented/Litigation Bodily Injury Adjuster to handle Texas-based auto accident claims from home. You’ll investigate injuries, assess coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements while delivering exceptional customer service across calls, email, and text.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling represented third-party Bodily Injury claims.
• Experience managing litigated Bodily Injury claims.
• Experience handling claims in Texas.
• Extensive knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis, a plus
• Experience using NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center, a plus
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully.
• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate casualty (and applicable LOB) claims by reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
• Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants in line with legal and business standards.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text to guide them through a fast, fair claims process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of each claim in the claims system.
