Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster to handle high-volume, complex cases remotely. You will assess coverage, liability, and damages, communicate with customers and attorneys, and negotiate timely settlements.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with insurance policies and state regulations. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in moderate/complex BI claim handling and experience with first- and third-party claims.

Qualifications

• Prior represented third-party casualty claim handling experience.
• RI/MA/ME/NH/VT claims experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of moderate/complex Bodily Injury claim handling preferred.
• Strong communication skills over the phone to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
• Proficient knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Customer Service Expert role: demonstrate empathy, clarity, and partnership in each casualty claim.
• The Investigator role: independently review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• The Effective Communicator role: use phone, email, and video chat to aid the claims process and tailor client communication.
• The Negotiator role: evaluate and negotiate settlements following legal and business standards.
• The Problem Solver role: use tools and platforms to complete claims quickly and accurately, with thorough documentation.
