Asymmetric Research is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate, and scale mission-critical blockchain infrastructure supporting L1/L2 networks and DeFi protocols. You will join a globally distributed, fully remote team focused on secure, highly available systems and automation across our environments.

We value 2+ years in SRE/DevOps, Linux/networking expertise, and proficiency with Go, Python, or Rust, along with CI/CD and observability tooling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong experience managing Linux systems and network infrastructure
• Hands-on with load balancers and high-availability tech (HAProxy, ALB/ELB)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
• Solid troubleshooting across hardware, networking, and software systems
• Development experience in Go, Python, or Rust
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience with open-source monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alertmanager)

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a globally distributed blockchain infrastructure fleet
• Design, architect, deploy, and operate production-grade infrastructure services
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code across dev, staging, and prod
• Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling
• Monitor system health and respond to incidents with strong troubleshooting
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and operational discipline
