Job summary

Cook MyoSite, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to develop and execute integrated PR strategies for both divisions, manage media relations, and oversee social media communications across corporate channels.

The role requires extensive experience in regulated healthcare communications and proficiency with PR tools and CRM. You will collaborate with internal teams to align external messaging with regulatory requirements, monitor PR metrics, and drive visibility for Cook MyoSite

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or 5+ years direct, relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a public relations, communications, or social media management role, with preference for life sciences, biotech, pharma, healthcare.
• Experience managing external communications in a regulated environment (FDA, pharma/biotech) and knowledge of MLR workflows.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; familiarity with CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated PR strategies to support the goals for both divisions of the company.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and external announcements.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, health and science journalists, patient advocacy organizations and industry contacts.
• Manage proactive and reactive media inquiries and issues/crisis communications within regulatory reviews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for social media communications across the organization for all Cook MyoSite accounts.
• Lead social media strategy and content calendar across corporate and brand channels.
