Job summary

Mineralys Therapeutics, a fully remote clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Manager of Commercial Accounting to lead revenue and gross-to-net accounting, AR, inventory, and cost of goods sold. You will partner with Trade & Distribution, Market Access, and CMC teams to support commercialization and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. commercial accounting in biotech/pharma/life sciences.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP incl. ASC 606 revenue recognition, gross-to-net, inventory and COGS.
• Experience with pharma order-to-cash processes, AR, deductions, and customer reconciliations.
• Experience with 3PLs, wholesalers, and commercial service providers.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or other ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue accounting and month-end close for product revenue and related accounts.
• Oversee inventory and COGS accounting, including valuation and reserves.
• Prepare gross-to-net reserve calculations and collaborate with Market Access and Commercial teams.
• Lead accounts receivable and order-to-cash activities with 3PLs and distributors.
• Support financial reporting, audits, SOX controls, and process improvements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for team members.
