Weekday AI is seeking accomplished Biology & Biophysics Research Collaborators to advance AI systems capable of reasoning across life sciences. This remote, part-time engagement (up to 20 hours/week) focuses on rigorous biology and biophysics evaluation, design of challenging problems, and detailed feedback to improve AI models.

Ideal candidates hold PhD or postdoc credentials with strong publication records.

Qualifikationen

• First-author or co-first-author publications in leading journals such as Nature, Science, Cell, PNAS, eLife, NEJM, etc.
• PhD or postdoctoral training from a globally recognized institution in life sciences or related STEM.
• Prestigious fellowships or research awards (HHMI, NIH, NSF, Damon Runyon, etc.).
• Named inventor on patents or PI on funded grants.
• Active research experience (PhD Candidate to Industry Researcher).
• Strong publication record is highly valued.

Aufgaben

• Review biology and biophysics research papers for rigor, novelty, and validity.
• Design and review challenging biology/biophysics problems for AI models.
• Assess AI-generated solutions in mechanism prediction, experimental design, literature interpretation, and research methods.
• Identify reasoning gaps that senior researchers would notice.
• Provide detailed, evidence-based written feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Collaborate with researchers and project teams to ensure quality and consistency across tasks.
