Qualifications

• Zero to one year of experience in medical insurance claims billing preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• 10-Key by touch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance payers electronically or on paper.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for second pass submission.
• Follow up on primary and secondary billing claims with insurers.
• Process claim appeals with complete documentation for carriers.
• Assist stores with demographic and authorization data for accurate submissions.
• Identify and report billing errors or trends to management.
• Generate monthly patient balance statements per EOBs from insurers.
