Backcountry is seeking a Merchandise Manager, Bike, to drive strategy and financial performance for the Bike category across five banners. You will own the open-to-buy budget, vendor relationships, and day-to-day buying decisions while mentoring a team of buyers and junior merchants.

You will aim to establish strong partnerships, tighten assortment accuracy, and build KPI cadences for your team to run on with end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of bikes, frames, and components with cross-component evaluation.
• 10+ years in retail buying or merchandising with sourcing and vendor management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to forecast demand and procurement.

Responsabilités

• Own SKU/PO worksheets, quantity and style allocation under tight deadlines.
• Manage open-to-buy budgets across Banner network and marketplaces.
• Analyze sales data to forecast demand and refine procurement plans.
• Ensure assortment accuracy and collaborate on promotions and pricing.
• Lead and mentor a Bike buying team for performance outcomes.
