About the job: Remote Bid Solution Architect
The Remote Bid Solution Architect position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, particularly in leading and writing technical government proposal responses.
- Technical experience
- Strong written communication skills (proposal writing is a primary responsibility)
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience and understanding of large-scale distributed computing systems in enterprise environments
- At least 4 years of experience in the Information Technology industry
- Knowledge of software design and programming
- At least 3 years of experience leading or writing technical proposals
- Knowledge of Java and/or .NET development environments
- Experience with DevOps and cloud environments
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Azure or Tanzu environments
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Experience working on Government contracts
- Experience with software design and programming
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the bid technical response in coordination with management, technical team, and sales
- Gathering proposal content with sales, capture personnel, practice leaders, and technical teams
- Preparing solution concepts, cost estimates, pricing, and technical proposal write-ups
- Developing pre-sell materials, proposals, presentations, and product demos
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of technical proposals and marketing materials
- Writing technical sections, white papers, and specification sheets
- Leading and analyzing RFI, RFQ, RFPs, identifying solution gaps, and collaborating on future development roadmaps
- Building proposal compliance matrices and tracking requirements fulfillment
- Transferring knowledge to implementation teams upon award
