Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Business Intelligence Engineer to solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight for decision-makers.

You will describe tools and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data to create actionable information, reporting to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in data analysis, 3+ years with SQL/SAS/Databricks, and 5+ years of advanced Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of technical data analysis experience.
• 3+ years of SQL, SAS, or Databricks experience.
• 5+ years of advanced Excel (Power Pivot, complex formulas, data summarization).
• 2+ years assessing complex data sets and root cause analysis.
• US Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insights for decision-makers.
• Describe tools and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data to create actionable information.
• Possibly work with limited supervision and guidance in ambiguous situations.
