Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.

You will describe the tools and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data, enabling informed decisions with minimal direction. The role is remote, reporting to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of technical data analysis experience.
• 3+ years with SQL, SAS or Databricks.
• 5+ years advanced knowledge of Excel power pivots, complex formulas, and summarizing data.
• 2+ years of assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
• Describe tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze and present data to create actionable information.
• Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction.
