Job summary

Avicado is transforming how construction owners use technology and data. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to partner with Supply Chain and Operations to design reporting solutions, automate processes, build scalable data pipelines, and develop dashboards that enable smarter decision-making.

You’ll work with stakeholders, write SQL, create dashboards, and identify opportunities to improve data flows across enterprise systems in a collaborative remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, engineering, finance, mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or similar roles.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience designing enterprise dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• Experience integrating data from multiple business systems.
• Experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Construction organizations.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience developing KPIs and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to understand reporting and analytics needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models that support operational reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into centralized reporting solutions.
• Improve data quality, governance, and documentation across reporting environments.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software engineers and business partners to develop internal data applications.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve development efficiency and accelerate solution delivery.
