Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design and deliver dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Power BI for federal programs. The role supports enterprise analytics, data governance, and platform administration across Tableau Server and Power BI Service, with opportunities to work remotely within the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, DAX, data modeling skills, and experience with data warehouses, ETL, and collaboration with data engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive BI experience.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• 4+ years of hands-on dashboard/report development in Tableau and Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query for data modeling.
• Experience with Tableau Server administration and Power BI Service administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
• Translate complex requirements into intuitive visualizations.
• Build reporting solutions supporting KPI tracking, performance trends, and compliance.
• Enable self-service reporting with drill-down capabilities.
• Create and maintain calculated fields, KPIs, and business logic across both platforms.
• Develop high-volume transactional reports with export capabilities.
• Optimize dashboards for performance and usability across user groups.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data pipelines and governance.
