Ferguson is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Modeler to design and optimize data models and semantic layers powering enterprise reporting and AI use cases. You will work across business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, and governance practices.

The role is fully remote within the United States, supporting a data-driven enterprise with modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or data warehousing.
• Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL experience.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and data integration.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, lineage, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional, and semantic data models.
• Translate requirements into scalable analytics models and metrics.
• Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and datasets.
• Create calculations using DAX, SQL, and Power Query/M.
• Support planning, forecasting, and scenario analyses.
