Responsibilities

• Shave milliseconds off the tech hot path that Blumhouse users feel every click.
• Catch race conditions in Apache Spark that surface during peak Provo traffic.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and Spark libraries.
• Carry a Plotly feature through code freeze without breaking stability.
• Track and report on key performance metrics for technology services.
• Carry the Scikit-learn platform work that supports UT expansion.
• Ensure code quality through automated linting, testing, and static analysis.
• Ship Hadoop features that move Blumhouse's roadmap forward.
