The role requires licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC and entails conducting interviews, delivering individual and group therapy, crisis assessment, and coordination with psychiatrists to ensure quality care. Strong communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the licenses: LCSW, LMFT or LCMHC in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting problems and mental status.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy across all ages.
• Assess psychiatric crises and coordinate with psychiatrists for crisis intervention.
• Maintain medical records compliant with state and federal guidelines.
• Refer clients to appropriate outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to maintain safety.
• Cover Emergency Services during clinical hours and provide after-hours/on-call coverage as needed.
• Maintain licensure and participate in trainings to stay current with best practices.
• Develop positive relationships within communities served and with monitoring/licensing agencies.
