Job summary
Positive Reinforcement LLC is seeking experienced BCBAs to provide Therapeutic Consultation for adults with developmental disabilities, with some children/adolescents, under Virginia FIS/CL waivers. Flexible, part-time and full-time options available, remote and community-based in Virginia.
As a consultant, you will assess needs, develop support plans, and train families and staff. Most services occur during daytime hours to support work-life balance and sustainable scheduling.
Qualifications
- Must hold BCBA certification and licensure where applicable.
- Experience in waiver-based and community-based care is preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized Therapeutic Consultation plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional assessments to determine behavioral support needs.
- Develop Therapeutic Consultation Support Plans aligned with ISP goals.
- Provide training and modeling to families, caregivers, and staff.
- Offer ongoing consultation and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and residential/day providers.
- Document services and progress notes per waiver requirements.
