Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Behavioral Health Utilization Management in Virginia, remote. This full-time, 40 hours per week position operates from 8am to 5pm EST, Mon-Fri.

The role focuses on applying evidence-based guidelines for treatment, coordinating care, and ensuring appropriate utilization of ABA services across levels of care. Requires BCBA and Virginia LBA licensure, with 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification and Virginia LBA license required.
• 3 years of related experience in behavioral health/utilization management required.
• Experience with ASD/ABA applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret criteria and policies to determine appropriate services.
• Coordinate and evaluate options to facilitate healthcare services for members.
• Apply clinical criteria to render coverage.
• Coordinate with providers to facilitate care and address ABA compliance.
• Identify at-risk members and promote referrals.
• Promote quality and utilization of healthcare services.
• Lend expertise to coordination of the UM function.
• Enter accurate information into the claims system for processing of payment.
