Job summary

The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking a part-time, remote analytics assistant to support the Insight & Foresight program. You will analyze game and practice video, generate large datasets, and help build reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include regularly interfacing with the Director of Player Development, communicating findings, and collaborating on new research across functions. Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with hours not exceeding 29 per week.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and a passion for basketball and sports.
• Readily accessible and responsive to communication and requests.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks to completion without reminders.
• Delivery of an outstanding work product on time.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver clear messages to partners.
• Some experience with video analysis platforms such as Hudl, Sportscode, Creator, etc. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regularly interface with the Director of Player Development to align on priorities and tasks
• Analyze and chart game and practice video
• Generate large and sophisticated datasets
• Communicate and present findings
• Develop impactful reports, presentations, and ongoing results
• Collaborate on new research opportunities across various functions
• Perform other duties as assigned
