Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Project Manager to lead cross-divisional projects and banking core solutions. This remote role requires you to reside within roughly 70 miles of listed office locations and to coordinate complex implementations.

Responsibilities include driving product and process initiatives, ensuring operational readiness, and mentoring other PMs. A PMP and PMP-like experience are preferred, with a Bachelor's degree typical for candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of project management or financial institution experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes for the foundational cores.
• Manages operational readiness and client testing to ready products for market.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
• Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
• Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
• Assists less experienced peers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
