Alerus is recruiting for a Client Service Center Associate, Banking. This remote role involves handling calls, emails, and chats from banking and wealth clients, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and product information. The position emphasizes building client relationships and promoting suitable Alerus solutions.

Hours are Monday–Friday 10am–7pm Central, plus one Saturday per month. Candidates preferred in Phoenix, AZ, or within Alerus markets, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in business customer service or accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
• 1+ years in financial services related work preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and stay self-motivated.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment focused on technology.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of inbound calls, emails, and chats from banking and wealth clients.
• Educate, troubleshoot, and provide accurate information to customers.
• Communicate clearly about deposits, money markets, and loan policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Alerus products, services and processes.
• Build client relationships and promote suitable products and services.
• Meet quality, productivity and attendance standards; inform manager if at risk.
