Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking Back End Developers to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs for AI products. This fully remote hourly contract role is open to engineers based in New York and beyond, with 10–40 hours per week.

You will work on data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices, collaborating asynchronously with distributed teams and contributing to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more back end languages and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back end services and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code with best practices.
