DualEntry, an AI-native ERP startup, seeks an experienced Backend Engineer to own critical features end-to-end, accelerating product velocity. You will build APIs, services, and real-time systems handling complex accounting logic, collaborating with founders, product, and frontend teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role offers remote work across multiple regions, with strong equity and an early-stage, high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proven track record in high-growth environments.
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, and schema design.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.
• Strong API design and testing experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD, deployment, and production readiness.
• Bonus: Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Fluent English (C1+) with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end backend systems and infrastructure.
• Build APIs, services, and real-time systems for complex accounting logic.
• Collaborate with founders, product, and frontend engineering to simplify workflows.
• Design, implement, and ship production-ready features rapidly.
• Manage data migrations, scaling challenges, and external integrations.
• Drive measurable outcomes that boost product velocity and stability.
