Job summary

National Quality Systems (NQS) is seeking a Microsoft Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to own deployment, operation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of the NQS cloud platform. This remote role reports to the Senior Executive VP of Engineering and focuses on cloud infrastructure and DevOps across healthcare SaaS workloads.

You will deploy Azure infrastructure, manage AKS, implement IaC with Terraform, and ensure HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST compliance while supporting production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems (master’s preferred).
• 5+ years supporting production cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years administering Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with AKS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
• Experience troubleshooting distributed applications and networking.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure as code.
• Administer Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
• Maintain GitHub repositories and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
