Job summary

National Quality Systems (NQS) is seeking a Microsoft Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a remote position in the United States. You will deploy, operate, and improve our Azure cloud platform, AKS clusters, and Terraform-based infrastructure while upholding HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, and HITRUST standards.

The role requires 5+ years of production cloud experience, Azure administration, and Kubernetes expertise, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalable operations in a healthcare SaaS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information system or related field (master’s preferred).
• 5+ years supporting production cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years administering Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years managing Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and support AKS clusters.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure as code.
• Administer Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
• Maintain GitHub repositories and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production environments and respond to incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and automate tasks.
• Support engineering and customer support during production issues.
• Ensure HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, and HITRUST compliance.
