Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Solutions Architecture) to design and oversee Azure-based solutions for the Veterans Affairs portfolio. This remote, full-time role requires deep cloud expertise and collaboration with business development, capture, and proposals to deliver secure, scalable architectures that meet cost and schedule objectives.

You will lead technical staff, write proposal-level designs, and partner with the Enterprise Architect to ensure governance,

Qualifications

Proven track record designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure.
Experience with high-availability, scalable cloud architecture.
Expertise in Azure services: VM, Storage, SQL DB, VNet, Functions, Entra ID, ARM, DNS.
Experience with cloud security, governance, and cost management.
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of Azure-based cloud architecture proposals.
Collaborate with business development, capture, proposal, and other team members to optimize solutions.
Coordinate staffing for pre-bid and proposal efforts.
Design secure, scalable Azure solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
Mentor engineers and ensure governance, risk, and cost controls are maintained.
Ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives and delivery timelines.
