Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Azure Cloud Security and Databricks Consultant to support a remote project focused on secure cloud migration and governance. The role involves architecture reviews, vulnerability remediation, IaC security scanning, CSPM rollout, and data protection for Azure Databricks.

The candidate will coordinate across legacy and target environments, document rigorously, and validate compensating controls. US citizenship or legal residency is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure security architecture experience across identity, network, compute, and data services.
• Proficiency with Azure AD and Infrastructure as Code security scanning and governance.
• Experience deploying and operating CSPM solutions, preferably CrowdStrike CSPM.

Responsibilities

• Finalize Azure architecture security reviews and coordinate remediation of critical and high vulnerabilities across Azure, on-premises datacenters, and Active Directory surfaces transitioning to Veolia.
• Perform static security scans on Azure AD Infrastructure as Code repositories and track remediation.
• Coordinate remediation of critical and high findings from Azure penetration testing and verify closure.
• Implement CSPM, execute posture testing, remediate critical findings, and perform retesting post-remediation.
• Lead Azure Databricks security and governance, including TLS inspection exception approval with documented risk and ServiceNow sign-off.
• Validate private-by-design patterns for Databricks, including VNet injection and private endpoints.
