Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Azure Cloud Security and Databricks Consultant for a remote contract role. You will drive security architecture reviews, remediation of high risks, and CSPM rollout across Azure, on‑premises, and Databricks environments.

The position requires hands-on Azure security experience, IaC security scanning, GSOC/SIEM familiarity, and strong documentation. US citizenship or residency is required for the client.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure security architecture across identity, network, compute, and data services.
• Demonstrated remediation leadership for critical and high vulnerabilities from baseline and pentest outputs.
• Proficiency with Azure AD security scanning and governance.
• Experience deploying CSPM solutions, preferably CrowdStrike CSPM.
• Background in SaaS and data security, including Cyera or equivalents.
• Azure Databricks security, networking, and IAM governance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Finalize Azure architecture security reviews and coordinate remediation of critical and high vulnerabilities.
• Perform security scans on IaC repositories and track remediation.
• Coordinate remediation from pentesting findings and verify closure.
• Implement CSPM and posture testing with remediation and retesting.
• Oversee Databricks security and governance, including Unity Catalog and private endpoints.
• Coordinate logging ingestion and retention policies for GSOC and SIEM.
