Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland in the United States is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the architecture and governance of the firm’s Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, with emphasis on identity, security, and cost optimization.

You will set design standards, architect scalable environments, and lead initiatives including AI adoption and disaster recovery, partnering with IT, Information Security, Innovation, and business stakeholders to deliver a secure, integrated foundation that

Qualifications

8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with 3+ years in architecture.
Deep Azure and M365 expertise including identity and security.
Experience with Entra ID, CA, SSO, Intune, Defender and Purview.
Knowledge of multi-tenant design, tenant separation or migrations.
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and governance for the live Azure/M365 environment, including identity, security, and cost optimization.
Establish design standards and security baselines for new projects.
Design secure integrations between platforms and existing systems.
Design dedicated Development and Production environments and migration approaches.
Lead architecture for Microsoft 365 E7, Copilot, and AI governance.
Lead architecture for document management modernization and disaster recovery.
Ensure architecture supports client security requirements and frameworks (ISO/NIST).
Establish formal architecture documentation and security design reviews.
Translate business needs into scalable solutions and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
