Job summary

Vamonos IT is seeking a skilled Microsoft Azure Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain Azure-based solutions for a diverse client portfolio. You will collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures that drive digital transformation.

The role focuses on migration, security, automation, and ongoing optimization, with remote work authorized and occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3+ years’ hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong grasp of Azure services (VM, storage, networking, security, identity, monitoring).
• Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Experience with cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSG, firewall, load balancing).
• Experience implementing security controls and monitoring in Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Azure certification(s) such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure solutions (VMs, networking, storage, identity, security).
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises and other clouds to Azure.
• Implement security controls and monitor threats for compliance.
• Use IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and Azure DevOps to automate deployments.
• Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues for clients.
• Create and maintain architecture and operation documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay current with Azure features and contribute to internal knowledge base.
