Job summary
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to support modernization of enterprise applications and migration of Power Platform solutions to Azure-native applications.
This hands-on role assesses existing Power Apps and Power Platform apps, defines future-state migration approaches, and designs scalable cloud-native solutions using React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure services.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development, cloud application development, and/or cloud modernization.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud-native architecture and application development, including migrating or modernizing Power Apps/Power Platform
- Proficiency with React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Azure monitoring tooling.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing Power Apps/Power Platform applications and document architecture, components, integrations, and data flows.
- Define future-state migration strategies for Azure cloud-native solutions.
- Design and develop cloud-native enterprise apps using React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure services.
- Build cloud data solutions with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data-modeling and migration.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, including monitoring and telemetry.
